theWit Hotel Showcase
Where: 201 N. State St., Chicago, IL
When: Thursday, February 27, 2025 (4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
On the Chicago events scene, theWit is known to throw a party unlike any other.
So, when it comes to next-level weddings, theWit was the ideal venue for a stunning Spring showcase.
At the end of February, hundreds of guests descended on theWit Hotel’s swanky event spaces to see, taste, and experience what it takes to put on a mind-blowing, show-stopping wedding.
During theWit Showcase:
More than 20 experts were on hand across several specialties, including food and beverage, design and décor, fashion, wedding music and entertainment, florals, and more.
Guests included top-tier wedding planners, other wedding vendors, event pros, and glowing brides-to-be.
Spread across two stunning spaces—the chic Gateway Room and the grand Churchill-Wilde Ballroom—the event was designed to show off the venue’s versatility for weddings, as well as corporate events, private parties, and more.
Equally elegant and cinematic, theWit Showcase set the tone for spring soirées with:
Lush florals
Signature cocktails
Perfectly curated musical selections
Lightning-in-a-bottle energy that was authentic, aspirational, and fantastically cool.
Deux Weddings at theWit Showcase
Our experienced wedding DJs and events team had the honor of entertaining guests, providing a backdrop of elevated sounds and mood-boosting melodies to electrify the crowd.
To craft an immaculately captivating backdrop worthy of this event, Deux Weddings was on site with:
DJ JuJu spinning from our custom video DJ booth, mixing high-energy tracks in front of a wedding-inspired visual backdrop.
The incredibly talented electronic violinist Edith Yokley (yes—the same one who tours with Lauryn Hill), gracing the Gateway Room with a modern-classical twist that was sophisticated and artfully original.
Full sound + AV support across both rooms so that every beat hit just right.
We also got to hang out with our friends from Elle & Ree Floral (their install was lovely!) and catch up with the glam squad over at Salon Snob.
Between the beats, the bites, and the many brilliant touches, this Showcase is a glowing example of why our wedding DJs and events team love collaborating with theWit.
Morilee at Chicago Bridal Market
Where: TheMart, Chicago
When: March 9 to 11, 2025
Three days, thousands of buyers, and the hottest bridal fashion straight off runways in Rome and NYC—It’s easy to see why this was a can’t-miss event for top-tier wedding professionals!
Morilee's Showcase at the Chicago Bridal Market was all about:

With 3,000+ attendees over a few days, this wedding event wasn’t just about gowns—it was a full-fledged production, and we were at ground zero, coordinating several key elements to bring it all to life.
Deux Weddings for Morilee's Showcase at the Chicago Bridal Market
We teamed up with Morilee’s incredible marketing and ops team—plus their newly appointed Chief Design Officer Jiyup Kim—to:
Create an imaginative, visionary runway soundtrack.
Reflect the elevated tone of their latest wedding dress collections.
Infuse upbeat, high energy, with ethereal layers, for rich, wonderful moments through various parts of the event.
Over this three-day showcase, Deux Weddings provided:
Wedding DJs: Live sets from DJ NikkiX and DJ Goldhouse transformed each strut down the runway into a legendary moment.
Production: Our custom video DJ booth, sound, and AV production allowed for total immersion and a truly captivating experience.
Professional photography: Capturing behind-the-scenes shots and event photos, one of our wedding photographers, Mike Rivera, snapped amazing pictures of the runway show, front-row reactions, the Deux Weddings team in action, and more.
Multi-day and events support: Our team put on 6 different bridal runway shows and 2 quinceañera shows within 72 hours.
From tulle trains floating down the runway to bold, cinematic lighting and dramatic drops, each show delivered jaw-dropping moments and instant highlight reel material. Deux Weddings was proud to be the pulse and creative engine behind it all.
